• Accuracy and comprehension of key details: The IELTS Reading test assesses your ability to understand the main ideas, specific details, and subtle information within various reading contexts. You need to demonstrate comprehension of facts, opinions, instructions, and descriptions.
• Understanding how words function in context: While the Reading test doesn’t involve accents, understanding how different words and phrases are used in various contexts will significantly improve your ability to interpret the text accurately. Some questions test your ability to recognize synonyms and paraphrases.
