While you don’t need to give long answers in Part 1, it’s important not to give one-word responses. This will make you seem unprepared and limit your ability to demonstrate your speaking skills.

 How to Practice:

  • Always aim to provide a little more information when responding. For example, instead of just saying “Yes” or “No,” add an extra sentence to explain your answer.

 Example:

  • Question: “Do you like your job?”
  • Answer: “Yes, I do. I’m a teacher, and I enjoy working with students because every day is different, and I get to see them grow and improve.”
