In IELTS General Training Writing Task 1, you will be presented with a scenario and three bullet points that you need to address. Your response will be evaluated based on four criteria: Task Achievement, Coherence & Cohesion, Lexical Resource, and Grammatical Range & Accuracy (see the lesson on “IELTS Writing Task 1 – How to Achieve Band 7 and Above”). These four criteria contribute equally to your final score. Your letter should be organized, address all bullet points clearly, and maintain the appropriate tone and register for the given context.
